Food & beverage

Start your day in style by having breakfast in the new Orangerie breakfast room of the Plaza Hotel. Enjoy an extensive buffet breakfast in the light and airy room with bright, sunny colours. Take your time to choose between the excellent range of warm and cold dishes, such as Norwegian salmon, fruit salad and fresh orange juice. Breakfast is served till 11am every morning, perfect for guests who prefer to sleep late.

Begin your evening by enjoying an aperitif or a drink after dinner in our Victoria Bar. While sipping a Belgian beer or a glass of wine, relax and enjoy the English style interior decor of the bar.

Room information

In a continuous search for improvement, the Plaza Hotel has already redecorated 40 rooms and will continue to do so in the next few months.

The spacious, elegant rooms all have new air conditioning, a cosy sitting corner, writing desk and flat-screen TV's. All the bathrooms are provided with a bath and shower, as well as a hairdryer and soft bath linen.

You will be able to dress in a real walk-in dressing room. Upon request, we can reserve a room with a balcony for you.

Area information

The Plaza Hotel is situated on the Charlottalei, lined with chestnut trees. The tourist sights, shopping streets, Central Station and the bustling nightlife of Antwerp are within walking distance of the hotel or can easily be reached by public transport.

Important information

The Plaza Hotel has underground parking. Since there is only a limited amount of places available, spaces have to be reserved in advance.
In the street of the hotel parking is free of charge every day between 19:00 and 09:00. On Sundays is no charge applicable the whole day.

Clean and warm. Good breakfast and all the the staff were really helpful.

Garage parking a bit tight !! The hotel is further away from the old town square than we thought - it's quite a walk when it's cold although the trams are very close and only take 10 minutes

Excellent service and staff. Great location near downtown. It is also a perfect place to stay at for events at Metropolis, because the tram station is very close and you dont need to transfer.

They charge for internet separately and they don't have card keys, but that's just a minor inconvenience.

Average bathroom. Hotel was a 20 min walk from the market square.

The hotel is at walking distance from the city center (20 minutes). Staff is very competent and they all speak English. Room very big and clean.

Rooms were a bit "old" in the style.

Good location. Quiet, clean, good continental breakfast. 92.50 euro/night special was a great deal for this level hotel.

It did not have a business center, ie computer available for guests. There is wireless, but I did not travel with a laptop. The bath/shower is dangerous for the elderly.

The room are very spacious, separate toilet, separate bathroom with a big corner bath and a dressing room. Staff at the reception were very helpful and polite.

We had twin beds joined in together and it was uncomfortable as there was a big gap in the middle. There were no bathrobe and ironing facilities in the room as stated in their room facilities. The furnitures are old-fashioned. the cupboards and drawers are very stiff when opening and closing.

Staff was very cordial; the room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Also very roomy. The bar is a great place to relax and has good music too. A very good deal in a good location.
