Just outside the city centre and very near to Antwerp Expo you will find the stylish and sophisticated accommodation of Ramada Plaza Antwerp, surrounded by greenery.

The tastefully decorated and spacious guest rooms offer a soothing and peaceful environment for your stay. Wake up with a delightful breakfast and get your car from the hotel’s underground parking to make use of the excellent transport links via the main motorways.

With a tram stop just outside the door, you can easily reach the trendy Zuid district in only 5 minutes or take a 10-minute ride to the historical heart of the city. Weather permitting, the hotel’s terrace offers a wonderful place to sip a drink and admire the garden.

Taste carefully prepared cuisine in Hugo’s Restaurant and enjoy the beautiful view of Hertoghe Park. You can work out in the fitness room and relax in the sauna for free. The Gozo bar provides a nice setting for trying a typical Belgian beer.

Local attractions include:

- The Steen castle: Situated right at the entrance of the city centre, it was probably built in the 13th century and is therefore considered as one of the oldest buildings in Antwerp. The castle has endured numerous renovations and was utilized first as a fort, then as prison and afterwards as an Archeological Museum. The National Navigation Museum has been housed here since 1952.

- Antwerp Cathedral: Built on the foundations of a Romanesque church, it is considered to be one of the most beautiful Gothic buildings in Europe. It is also one of the highest buildings in Antwerp.

- Open-Air Statuary Museum: Consisting of a 4km park that is littered with over 300 sculptures, created by artists such as Emile-Antoine Bourdelle, Auguste Rodin, Aristide Maillol, Ossip Zadkine and Giacomo Manzu.

The hotel is 10 minutes from the city centre with it's numerous restaurants, bars and museums, 7 minutes away from the central station and just 50 metres away from a tram stop.

comfortable and cosy room. modern furnitures..

staff at the reception were not pleasant especially the girl who dealt with us during check out..she was arrogant

Friendly staff, clean and quiet hotel, nice sauna.

You have to pay ten euros per day for parking.

The location

We booked executive but did not get executive treatment as the executive lounge was shut for the weekend. This we felt was false advertising as it was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel.

Location

Hotel car park was full when I arrived at 4.00pm. I then had to park approx 300 metres from the hotel which was inconvenient.

Only part of the staff are poilte enough.

Some of the hotel staffs needs to be trained to serve in a better way, e.g. the man who did check out for me

Tub didn't drain, and few of the receptionists were less than accommodating; a long distance from the sites
