The modern hotel Academie is situated in the famous "golden triangle" of Bruges, less than 50 metres from such well-known tourist landmarks as the Lake of Love and the Convent. The hotel have a very good Quality/Price relation and a great location, quiet, its easy to walk to the city main highlights. Big and nice room. Friendly staff; breakfast is more than enough.

Got the room for two nights on a special offer through bookings.com. staff were very friendly, it was centrally located and the room was very nice. Staff recommended some fantastic bars and restaurants and gave us a map.

Good location, great breakfast for 9 Euro

Didn't have a full shower screen so the bathroom floor gets very wet every time you shower.

Location of hotel was good. Not too far from the railway station. Close to all the main sites. We were in an obviously newly built part of the hotel and the room was very modern and roomy.

Room looked out on what was in effect an air shaft. The lighting controls were so complicated that it took seveal minutes to turn off lights.

The ease and convenience of the hotel together with the secure underground parking. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The bar could be more user friendly and would like availability for snacks etc. More coffee and tea would be appreciated in the rooms.

The design of the hotel is amazing, light and refreshing

I noticed that guests complained about smell of sewers on some websites !!!! I think they meant that they could smell the canals on a hot day which is only to be expected and it is not intrusive at all
